About · Polaris Impact AB · Lund

A practice built from inside European research.

Polaris Impact is a small, senior team of communicators, analysts and designers who have coordinated and written Horizon Europe proposals. We are practitioners of the instruments we advise on, not external marketers learning the vocabulary on the way in.

Nordic coastline at dawn with amber horizon line

Location & posture

Headquartered at Embassy House, Lund.

We sit on Scheelevägen in Lund — inside the Medicon Valley cross-border life-sciences cluster of Øresund — with regular office hours across Brussels, Stockholm and Berlin. The Lund base is deliberate: it is close to Nordic rigour, European decision-making, and the universities our clients coordinate with.

We are proudly small. A retained consortium engages with the senior team directly: no account managers, no offshoring, no templated deliverables built from someone else’s Horizon Europe work.

Operating principles

How we work.
And what we refuse to do.

01 / Senior only

Every engagement is led by a senior practitioner.

No junior handover after the kickoff. The name on your proposal is the name writing it.

02 / Evidence over rhetoric

Every claim we publish is sourced, dated and defensible.

We do not publish unverified hit-rates, invented funding totals, or vanity metrics.

03 / Method, not templates

ARTIS™ is a shared operating system, not a PowerPoint deck.

Every deliverable is re-designed for the consortium it serves. Templates exist — as scaffolding, never as output.

04 / FAIR by default

We build evidence libraries that survive audit.

Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable. FAIR is not a deliverable. It is the shape of the evidence from day one.

05 / Art & Science, literally

Creative craft is a channel of scientific fidelity.

Editorial design, exhibition design and cultural formats are not decoration. They carry the research where conventional dissemination cannot.

06 / Nordic rigour

We under-promise, over-document, and report on time.

A minor Nordic cliché. An operational reality.

The team

A collective, not a org chart.

Polaris Impact is a closed group of senior practitioners. We work as a collective: proposal writers, impact analysts, visual designers, curators, and ex-EC evaluators. We do not publish named profiles. The project you hire is the team you work with.

Network

We operate inside the European research network, not next to it.

We maintain working relationships across coordinator institutions, EC National Contact Points, EIT Knowledge & Innovation Communities, and the principal European research infrastructures. This is a working network — not a list of logos.
